An Asilia Africa tented camp on a small peninsula overlooking Lake Nzerakera, in the lake system fed by a tributary of the Rufiji. Its own site describes eight stretch-canvas tents, one a family tent, with en-suite bathrooms and indoor and outdoor showers. Game drives, walking, boating and fishing all run from camp, so it suits travellers wanting the full range of Nyerere activities from one base. Closed mid-March to the end of May.
