Makuzi Beach Lodge
A small owner-run beach lodge in a private bay roughly 10 km south of Chintheche on the northern lakeshore. Accommodation is in en-suite stone chalets set in gardens above the beach, and there is a campsite with its own ablution block. Unlike many lakeshore lodges that shut in the rains it is listed as open all year, and it suits couples, families and overlanders wanting a quiet swimming and snorkelling beach.
