About
Mana Pools is one of the few parks in Africa where visitors may walk unguided at their own risk, and the flat floodplain forest of winterthorn albida makes it possible to see a long way. Elephants stand on their hind legs to reach the pods, wild dog den here, and canoe trips run down the Zambezi past hippo with the Zambian escarpment opposite.
