Kakum National Park
Rainforest walked from above, on rope bridges strung through the canopy.
About
Kakum protects a block of Upper Guinean rainforest inland from Cape Coast, and its canopy walkway — seven bridges hung thirty metres up between emergent trees — is the reason most people come. Early morning is the time for birds and for forest elephant signs on the ground trails, and guided night walks pick up the forest's other shift.
