About
Dzanga-Sangha protects Congo Basin rainforest in the far south-west, and its centrepiece is Dzanga Bai — a mineral clearing where dozens of forest elephants gather at once, watched from a platform. Habituated western lowland gorillas are tracked here with BaAka trackers whose knowledge of the forest underpins the whole operation.
