About
Andasibe is the easiest place in Madagascar to meet lemurs, and the most memorable reason is sound: the indri, the largest surviving lemur, calls in the morning in a wail that carries for kilometres through the forest. Eleven other lemur species live here, along with chameleons, tree frogs and orchids, and the reserve is close enough to the capital to visit in a long weekend.
